    Feb 2nd           Brian Swingler                         Introduction to Gouache

    A retired teacher living in Rubery and organiser of many Adult Education classes in Birmingham and Worcestershire. He has also been vice president of the RBSA and a member of the Birmingham Watercolour Society. This will be an interesting introduction to a little
    understood medium, favoured by professional illustrators.

    Andy has been interested in art all his life but over the last 20 years has developed his love for pastels. His demonstration will be a landscape highlighting the aspect of colour and contrast so important in this medium.

    John is an experienced artist and tutor of art. He has taught art classes, run workshops and done individual tutoring. He believes everyone has a talent for drawing, even if currently it is hidden in a cobwebbed corner of your brain. He will explain how to find and release your talent and how you can become skilled at drawing.

    Oct 5th              Melanie Wilkinson                       Acrylic Ink Demonstration

     Melanie is a professional artist and photographer, she will be demonstrating painting semi abstract garden birds using acrylic ink. This medium is bot colourful, permanent and lends itself to a feeling of movement of the subject. See her work at @MelanieWilkinson.HitchesStStudios
